Multiple Seat Baby Strollers

Some families are choosing to have more children these days, so finding a specialty stroller that will seat two or more children is a special challenge. Twin strollers are fairly easy to find, but there are also triple strollers and quad strollers on the market for larger families or day care situations. Multiple seat baby stroller also available in jogging styles for those energetic  bunch.

Twin Strollers - Twin strollers, also known as double strollers, are designed to seat two children, although not necessarily twins. They come in two different seating configurations: side-by-side seating, and front to back seating. Choosing between these two stroller styles is a matter of personal preference, but experienced parents recommend considering if your two little passengers will enjoy sitting next to each other or if it would be wiser to have them sit one in front of the other. Many major manufacturers make double strollers, and they are found in all reputable stores and well as online for good prices through stroller websites.

Triple and Quad Strollers - Finding multiple strollers for more than two children is more of a challenge. Triple strollers are available for seating three children, and there are even quad strollers for four children. These specialty strollers are not as widely available in retail stores, but can still be found online at sites specializing in baby stroller sales.

Triple strollers come in both side-by-side seating and front to back seating styles just like twin strollers do. Front to back stroller seating configurations allow you to have independently reclining seats and separate awnings for each child. You can also find triple stroller models with side-by-side seating, but these are rather wide and you have to consider how easy this multiple stroller arrangement will be to maneuver.

Quad strollers for four children are finally available as well. Some of these specialty strollers have independently reclining seats and individual awnings, but not all. Most quad strollers seat the children in two pairs, and not all of these specialty strollers accommodate car seats. Two important considerations are the size of the stroller when folded, and how heavy the stroller is.
